OUTDOOR EVENT POLICIES

AGE REQUIREMENTS

A ticket must be purchased for all children twelve months of age and older. Children under the age of twelve months do not require a ticket if they are seated in a parent’s lap. In the instance a performance has a specific age restriction, the age limit for the show will be included on the event page. If no age limit is specified on the event page, all ages are welcome.

BAG POLICY

The following clear bags are permitted in the venue: Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags, clear backpacks or fanny packs that do not exceed 12" x 12" x 6" (clear bags only). One-gallon clear plastic bags (Ziploc bag or similar).

Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (no larger than 5” x 8”) that are not clear are allowed for personal items (female hygiene products and medications, etc.), with or without a handle or strap can be carried separately or within a clear bag.

No chair bags are allowed. All bags will be searched by security.

BLANKETS

Blankets 40" x 60" or smaller are permitted and can be carried separately or within a clear bag.

CHAIRS

Standard size, collapsible lawn chairs are allowed. Chairs must be removed from their bags as no chair bags are allowed through security. Chair bags must be left in the patron’s vehicle or at home.

GATE TIMES

Gate times are strictly enforced. Our venue gates do not open until the advertised gate time, which is provided on your ticket and listed on the event page of this website. In limited circumstances, i.e. VIP meet and greets, early access is allowed to select individuals. Portable restrooms and a free water refill station will be available outside of the gates for those who choose to line up early.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Food trucks, snack vendors, and full bars (for those 21+) will be provided in all sections of the lawn at all outdoor shows. The only beverages allowed in through the gates are factory sealed water bottles 20 oz. or under, limited to one bottle per person. Soft, collapsible, reusable water bottles are allowed but must be empty upon entry. No hard or metal water bottles are permitted. Free water refill stations will be available onsite. No other outside food or drink will be allowed.

Premiere Catering is our adult beverage concessionaire. They reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, including ‘cutting off’ patrons, and will not knowingly over-serve. When a patron’s intoxication disrupts the comfort and safety of Premiere Catering and/or Redding Civic Auditorium staff, and/or venue patrons, that patron will be removed from the venue at Redding Civic Auditorium’s discretion.

INS & OUTS

There is no re-entry. Once your ticket has been scanned, exiting past the ticket scanner will result in not being allowed back in even if the performance has not yet ended.

PARKING

The main parking lots nearest the facility, including VIP parking, open at 2PM. Onsite parking is limited and is first come first served so please carpool when possible. Limited handicap accessible parking spaces are in the main lot closest to the cross walk and are also first come first served.

Additional off-site parking is available on Butte Street, near Sequoia Middle School. Please look for the 'CIVIC EVENT PARKING ONLY' signage if you're parking in this area. Parking is also available along Park Marina Drive.

VIP Parking is for VIP Lawn ticket holders only (it is not included in artist VIP packages). Patrons will be required to show photo ID and/or a VIP Lawn ticket to the parking attendant prior to parking. VIP parking closes 45 minutes after the start of the performance and all unoccupied VIP spaces will be available for any ticket purchaser at that time.

PHOTO, VIDEO & SOCIAL MEDIA

Photo and video policies vary by show and will be communicated to ticket holders by email 24-48 hours prior to each performance. No unauthorized professional photography, video recording or live streaming is allowed. Violators of any photo/video policies will be removed.

REFUNDS/RETURNS

The Redding Civic Auditorium does not refund, exchange or return tickets that have been purchased. All ticket sales are final.

RESTROOMS

We will have portable restrooms in every section of the lawn. If the restrooms located nearest you have long lines, you are welcome to use an alternate station if your ticket provides access to that area.

SECURITY & PROHIBITED ITEMS

All patrons will be required to pass through a walk-through metal detector. No weapons or would be weapons are allowed, including but not restricted to pocketknives, mace, pepper spray, guns, or chains, etc. Every attendee is subject to a thorough search prior to entry. No outside food or beverages allowed. See WATER section below for more info. No ins & outs allowed. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Additional prohibited items: No umbrellas, wagons, tents or canopies allowed. Chairs bags, backpacks, and large bags of any kind are not allowed. See BAG POLICY and CHAIRS sections above for more information. Professional camera equipment is also not allowed.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Service animals individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability are welcome in our venue. No pets are allowed. Our staff reserves the right to remove a patron whose service animal poses a risk or distraction. TICKETING POLICIES

AUTHORIZED TICKETING PLATFORM - Etix is the Redding Civic Auditorium’s official ticketing platform. Purchasing tickets through reddingcivic.com, the auditorium’s box office, or etix.com assure the tickets you receive are valid, being sold at face value, and will be honored at our concerts and events. Buyer beware, tickets purchased through a different website or third-party ticket provider cannot be guaranteed and may not grant you entry.

DELAYED DELIVERY - To protect ticket purchasers from online ticket scams all mobile tickets will be held after purchase and will be unavailable until three (3) days prior to the performance. To give everyone a fair shot, we temporarily delay delivery so that we can check for orders placed by bots or orders that did not adhere to ticket limits. This ensures all legitimate buyers have an equal chance to purchase tickets.

MOBILE TICKET DELIVERY - We utilize mobile ticket delivery which is a quick and reliable way for you to have tickets scanned from your phone, simplifying the validation process and shortening wait times. Patrons receive a confirmation email upon purchase which includes the date the tickets will be available. A reminder email will also be sent when your tickets are ready. The ‘View Tickets’ link will only work from a mobile device not a desktop computer. We recommend adding your ticket(s) to your phone's wallet to avoid an unreliable cell signal during entry.

Patrons may also receive mobile tickets by text. Tickets are sent from 1-919-275-2488 with a message reading: "You've got ticket(s) for [Performance Name]. Get them here: [Ticket Link]." Click the link and add your tickets to your mobile wallet for easy access on the day of the show.

TICKET LIMITS - The number of tickets allowed per person/order varies by performance and are established to allow access to tickets to as many patrons as possible. We reserve the right to cancel, without notice, any or all orders and tickets from individuals who exceed the posted limits.

WEATHER

All outdoor performances are rain or shine. Umbrellas are not allowed inside the gates. If a performance is cancelled due to weather conditions, ticket holders will be notified as soon as possible, and all tickets will be refunded.
